No. 13 Bruce Jordan Swilling

What are our chances with Leonard Warner?

No clue. 247 has him 100% as a dwag, but they also had Swilling bros high on LSU, so I don't put a lot into their prediction. He has said too he wants to study engineering and make a "40 year decision" so Tech is the obvious fit. But I always get nervous about guys who talk high on academics then pick a factory (Malkom Parrish and Dalvin Tomlinson come to mind).

UGA has an awesome engineering program that will soon surpass TECH's, I reckon.:bfd:

According to that article the other day regarding college football majors, I believe the Dwags have the same number of ME majors on their team as we do.

GT Engineering: 89.9% offer rate at graduation, $68,000 / year starting salary
uGA Engineering: 62.3% offer rate at graduation, $51,000 / year starting salary

And you'll spend your 40 year career answering the question "So why didn't you go to Tech?"

if our players don't actually major in engineering, what does it matter?

Someone asked. Let's look at the top majors for football players at each school:

GT: Business: 96.4% offer rate, $60,000 / year median salary
uGA: Sports and Exercise Science: 31% offer rate, 31,000 / year median salary
now you're talking.

I moved to Atlanta between 8th and 9th grade from New Orleans and was set to attend Brother Martin had we not moved. My two cousins went to Brother Martin, my aunt works there now, I have friends who went there and I was one of the nerdy kids playing academic games there on Wednesdays back in the day.

I also distinctly remember watching Pat Swilling play for the Saints when I was younger, though a little too young to remember him playing for GT. Having so many "connections" and familiarity has me even more excited for what could be coming. Can't wait to watch these kids in the coming years.
Very cool. I played academic games there during 8th grade, but then moved on to Football and Track & Field.

Can't wait to root for the Swilling boys in white and gold!

For an example, Jordan Jenkins was one of the better DEs coming out of GA 4 or so years ago. He was high on tech and UGA and wanted to do engineering. That was the first year UGA had their engineering program I believe and the stud DE from our back yard that wanted to be an engineer went to UGA. Doubt he actually did the program, but it's a recruiting tool nonetheless. Recruits drop schools from their lists all the time when they don't have the major they think they want to do.

Because he won't pass Tech engineering. Nobody does without offering their soul to Satan.
