The hair dryer works amazingly well for the first few minutes and then it bursts into flames. More of a 110/220 issue than a plug problem. Just saying. Actually don't take any electrical appliances. You'll thank me later.

My wife and I went to Italy summer 2013. She ignored my warnings and as you say her expensive blow dryer was up in smoke in just a couple minutes.

She was not happy. I laughed.
