Season Tickets

Yall's werent sent UPS or FedEx?

Lol.

Mine were... And they weren't bent either.
Ah, interesting. I actually got my tickets online and they sent the coasters and pocket schedule and a couple other flyers in a floppy Tyvek envelope by First Class mail. Maybe they did send the actual tickets UPS/FedEx?

I'm not running a stingtalk fight club operation in Buckhead for y'all to settle your online disputes. It cost me too much money last time and the only reason the neighbors didn't call the cops is because the combatants were both white.

Corndog buys Tech fund tickets. So of course they will send him unbent tickets in fedex.

If you don't want your tickets shoved into your mailbox then pay more. Or download them like everyone else.

Or get a bigger mailbox. My Tech Fund tickets came First Class. No bendage was observed.

I printed my tickets at home and when I was walking back to the living room looking at them, I tripped on a PS4 controller and fell on them face first. Now they're all bent and I'm really mad at GTAA for the clown job they did with my tickets.

Tickets were bent. I handed the coasters to the SO, and she immediately said "ew". Don't care because football is almost here.

I buy Tech fund tickets. I paid extra to have hard copies sent to me. I get printed tickets because it's not unusual that I give either my or my tailgates' tickets away to folks who have never been to a Tech game. I've spent a lot of time trying to promote the school and the team, so it bugs me when the people whose actual jobs are promoting the program suck so terribly at it (not just shipping tickets, this is just the latest in a long line of suckage).

See posts #12, #16 and #20 for advice.

So don't go to the game or buy season tickets. Show those assholes who their boss is. And when they call you to inquire why you won't buy season tickets tell them last time they were bent on their way to you.

I prefer my solution of hiring a competent AD to further hire competent AA employees.

But if I do get around to providing any feedback to the AA, I'll let them know how bad they were.

So here's what actually happens with stuff like this:

1. Some people who buy season tickets from GT will decide it's not worth the extra money to do if they don't feel like GT is treating them well (e.g. sending them bent tickets). They'll do this because you can easily scalp your way into most games for cheaper than face value or even get free extras from friends or other fans.
2. GT will publish season ticket numbers that aren't as high or growing as fast as StingTalk posters would like, and StingTalk posters will bitch about how we have a terrible AA which isn't doing enough to get more fans.
3. During the next offseason, a season ticket holder will post a thread about something regarding season tickets that they don't like. The same people from step 2 will then call that guy a pussy, butthurt, etc., and tell him to man up and stop caring about that issue.
4. Said season ticket holder will become one of the people in step 1, and the cycle starts again.

Or at least some variant of the above cycle. Like it or not, presentation and making people feel like they're valued is probably the biggest factor in making sales of any type, including football tickets. Sometimes that means taking the time not to physically damage the product you're selling, even if you don't think it should matter.
