If you ship them in the cardboard envelope UPS then they won't get bent. It should be cheaper too because the bubble wrap envelopes are more expensive. They were shipped the way they were because someone either didn't know or didn't care, not because it saved money.
The one I got wasn't bubble wrap. It was just Tyvek. It was also larger than the normal cardboard envelope. It was also First Class mail, which is definitely cheaper than any regular UPS or FedEx product. (They do have hybrid services that are competitive with First Class mail on price but are slower.)

UPS doesn't charge for the boxes in my experience.
That's even worse! So they could have sent you a free box but they made you pay $20 for bubble wrap!

Those rascals!

My tickets were delivered by JT, Pat Gamble, Lance Austin, Brad Stewart and CPJ. The tickets were creased because CPJ pulled em out of his wallet. I invited em all in for a drink and we used those cheap coasters. Damn GTAA! I hope they get it right next year or I'm just going to stop buying tix.

Pulled them out of where?
Yeah, when they showed up, I was shocked but when he started pulling out his

wallet, I was thinking "when is the GTAA gonna start spending more on marketing, this just doesn't meet my expectations."

My tickets look like they rode on the Pony Express in the rain for a month.

Coming off a 3-9 season, demand is way down, you're already in deficit from firing 2 basketball coaches, you wanna pay your football staff enough money to keep them on board, so you went with the soft package to save some money so you can also send the kids to Dublin in something other than a cargo plane. Y'all need to be realistic about öööö. I'm not defending the AA but of all the things we can bitch about this is probably by far the most useless one.

In any case I hope the new AD can ship us boxes with solid gold bars with GT logo and barcodes imprinted on them for tickets. Then you will probably bitch about the shade of the gold.
You clearly weren't told to shut the öööö up enough as a child.

Season tickets arrived. If you shartgarglers care more about the asthetics of your tickets instead of going to games, sounds like you have a problem. That's one more problem than I have.

Wife wanted one of those clear vinyl bags so she could bring in "bottled water" and snacks (thinks we don't 80k enough I guess) so I ordered one with my tickets.

It was shipped separately by the GTAA and came today; in a UPS paperboard pouch.

It was not bent / folded / mutilated.

It's like the GTAA shipping department is ööööing with us.

Well, you have the problem of being too retarded to read a thread correctly. That's a pretty big problem.
