Schultz says we start 7-1....finish 8-4. Would you take it?

8-4 with a win over uga, I'll take it. If we lose to uga again, I don't give a öööö. They might as well go 3-9.

No, I can't stand another loss to Georgia. If we start 7-1 that would be bologna to finish 8-4. I would rather be a middling 6-6 than blow another two month end of the season stretch. Don't get me wrong, 8-4 would not be a terrible record, but if we start 7-1 we better end up with 10+ wins including Georgia.

no I don't. we CAN beat every team on the schedule. we WON'T though. not even close.

So you would vote "0.1 or less" in a probability poll but not "0.0" then?

I would accept it but not like it. Other than that Clemson game's location on the schedule I like the buildup in SOS as the season goes on. CPJ likes it because barring injuries, the offense gets better as the season goes on. Timing gets better and newer players have more experience. If we start 7-1 I'd hope to finish at least 9-3 if not 10-2.

I literally cannot imagine how anyone could be butthurt about 8-4 after last season. I mean, if we lose to U(sic)GA, of course there will be butthurt, but that's totally separate from the 8-4 record.

I wouldn't be butt hurt with with 8-4 but I would really like a bowl win on top of it.

How could you not be happy with that? Of course I would take it. The reality, however, is that is very much a pipe dream. I think all three new coaches in the division beat us, and the regular beatdowns from Georgia and Clempsen are likely. We are well below UNC in athletes. Who knows with Duke and Vandy. Southern & Mercer should be wins. 5-7 is probably, 6-6 would be understandable.
Clemson does not give us regular beatdowns.

I would take 8&4 right now with no questions asked. However, 7&5 seems more likely, that is about johnson's average. Bowl game, who knows?

I would be very happy with a 9-3 record with losses to Miami, Clemson, and VT. As long as we beat UGA, that would a great rebound season from 2015.

This holds true it's like 2011 all over again. Start off hot and then tank the last half of the year and choke in the bowl.
