We are going to be something special this year. You could tell our guys WANTED that win. They adjusted at the end when they needed to, and never once gave up. Playing the #1 defense on a rainy day in a foreign country and winning on a comeback drive... that's something to brag about.
 
He is a winner. Just didn't have any help last year. Need others to step up and we could do what we did in '14.
 
JT is so cool under pressure. So much fun to watch. He was on a whole different level than whatshisface from BC but all ESPN talked about the whole game was the BC guy.
 
Pass blocking compared to the last five years: A plus

Why we didn't just throw more earlier confused me.
 
When JT has a little time in the pocket and receivers who can catch, he can be a clutch passer. He didn't get any help last year.

it was just like the game against VT in 2014. Remember JT5 completed a 4th & 15 to Smelter on the game winning drive. Except
Today....it was a 4th & 19 completion to Jeune.

This means we will be even better than 2014's squad who also started out a bit sluggish out the gate. Just win baby!

Good call, yeah.
 
JT grew up. Did not force and then let his natural ability display. Best game he may have ever played emotionally. There were several times he could have forced passes and didn't to live to play another play and you see what happened. He willed us to a win while persevering.
 
agreed, that first play where he was about to take a 15 yd loss was huge..that alone could have blown the game.
 
This is what you expect/hope to get from a SR 3 yr QB. Was he over 50% in passing last yr at all? Today 8-15 and we needed them all.

Yep and we'll need more of that going forward if our ground game gets stuffed like it did today. Maybe it doesn't get stuffed as much if we mix in a few more pass plays?

We won't see a D-line (or rush D in general) quite as good as BC's probably for the rest of the year. Not saying our offense will perform at a 2014 level, but it should be easier to develop the ground game against a majority of our schedule.
