LSU white shirts at home

Do they always where white jerseys at home? AU is in blue.

My understanding is that the choice of jersey belongs to the visiting team and that traditionally the visiting team wears white. For a home team to be allowed to wear white at home they must submit a request to the visiting teams BEFORE the season starts and if the visitors decline then the home team must wear their dark unis at home.

If you recall we did this for a few years and I think most teams gave us the go-ahead to do so except Wake Forest and I think many were upset about that. But everything I heard was that Jim Caldwell (WF coach at the time) was very much a guy who stuck with routines and wouldn't alter them so they wouldn't wear their "home" unis away no matter what.

they made a mention of it in the aflac trivia question. asking who the other team that does it is? i'm pretty sure the answer is texass but i'll get back to that.

The trivia answer was "No one" but we did get a mention as the only other team that pushed for this allowance a few years ago (when we were wearing white home and away).

While I am a "white shirts yellow britches" fan, both home and away, I would happily accept the home blue and whites or last year's white helmet throwbacks.
What we wear now looks upstart.

Maybe Dan is waiting for "the" big change to happen simultaneously with a uniform change. That would be a nice statement.

LSU's home whites are as correct as ours were, but their "eye of the tiger" at midfield just reminds me of their dark age era under DiNardo.

If we stay with Gold shirts at home, White hats would be the way to go.

White/White/White or White/White/Gold would be good for the road.

We traditionally wore White shirts at home and that changed. There is nothing that says we can not change the Gold hat tradition.
