Best 2 loss team in the country?

Clearly Ole Miss. They'll be ranked. If either of LSU or auburn are ranked I'll be all butthurt because neither deserves it.

Just Piss will be ranked. Georgia will likely be 22-25, ööööty enough.

Les Miles fired yet?

How ridiculous are the expectations at LSU? This guy has won 1 NC, 2 SEC championships and never won less than 8 games a season. Does every program really think they can achieve the same results as Saban? In contrast, we would kill for a 10 year record like that here at GT.

2005 LSU 11–2
2006 LSU 11–2
2007 LSU 12–2
2008 LSU 8–5
2009 LSU 9–4
2010 LSU 11–2
2011 LSU 13–1
2012 LSU 10–3
2013 LSU 10–3
2014 LSU 8–5
2015 LSU 9–3

Clearly you haven't followed the SEC west very long nor do you know the hate for all things Saban by LSU alumni.

Think about how crazy you have to be to live in Louisiana in the first place. Hypothetically, one could save up 3K and move anywhere in the contiguous USA.

They would have fired Les last year if Jimbo was available. Georgia fired their coach based on the delusions of a subjective metric in recruiting. There are quite a few unrealistic expectations in the LaLa land of SEC-fandom...

It's not about results. There is a long list of inexplicable mistakes made by Miles, and their inability to develop a QB recently is even bad by Gailey standards.

In fact, results is the only thing keeping Miles around. Just judging by some of his decisions, he's not a good in-game coach at all.

johncu is owning this thread.

Crazily enough, if we were that good that consistently, we too would get frustrated we weren't winning championships more frequently. It's just human nature. Hopefully we'd have the good sense to be grateful for what we had though.

Totally unlike our current state of hand-wringing... right?

I don't think the expectations are that unreasonable for LSU considering (a) the money, (b) the complete ownership of the state in recruiting, and (c) their huge commitment to football.

Every other Southern football state is split between teams.
