VanGorder is gone

i hear he's good friends with CPJ. Maybe he can come to GT as a linebacker coach
 
well bet the dudes at ga southern aint shedding no tears..........years ago was talking to head of athletic admissions at Ga and this guys name was brought up......folks there said he did not have the temperment to be a HC ....seems like he cant do much at ND either.

He almost coached Georgia Southern to a National Championship before leaving and having a successful career as a DC at the Atlanta Falcons and Auburn and Notre Dame.

the blueprint of having a D stocked with 4 and 5 star guys he didn't recruit? (Seriously - Rodney Garner got all his talent for him at Georgia. There's no way Van Gorder went into any kid's home and made the difference in him going to ND or UGa. Or Auburn. Or the month he was at South Carolina. He has less than zero personality and even less character.)

Story I heard is BVG went into Richt's office one day and started making all kinds of demands, mostly about salary. Richt said no. So BVG got huffy and bolted for the Jaguars.

I know Sewak is a favorite target here (I've known Mike a long time and I've always gotten along with him) and let me tell you ... he's no member of the BVG fan club, either.

All I know is that David Pollack used to rave about this guy when he was on local ATL radio. That told me at the time that the guy was a douchenozzle.
