Duke prediction thread

I think a lot of the predictions have scores that are too high. Duke's offense is mediocre at best, and their defense has been pretty good, overall. They had something like 6 turnovers in the game they lost to UVa 34-20, and in the win over ND, they had a KO return for a TD plus 10 points off turnovers. I think we could get a score that is more like GT 17 Duke 13.

Awesome look. How do you see the game st chapel hill playing out?

Keyser, must you be reminded every year at this time?

Do you know what this image is?

These are leaves, which have been affected by a change in season. And when this happens, you know what else happens?

That's right, the offense is about to explode. There have been glimpses all season long, but this is the time of year where the spread option offense tends to shape up into beautiful form.

I suggest changing your prediction to something of the tune 42-28. GT rolls, with 339 rushing yards.

Gotta say you were pretty close here. Offense definitely looked good. More passing than running but still relatively unstoppable for a coach that obviously had a copy of the blueprint. Hopefully this continues.

I hope my error was due to underestimating our offense, rather than giving the Duke defense too much credit. Many of our big plays came from exploiting Duke's commitment to stopping the run by hurting them with passes and JT improvising. Last year, the offense never reached a point where they could make that adjustment. Hopefully, that will carry over to UNC, but big plays on offense and an inability to stop them with our defense takes us out of the strategy of limiting possessions. If we get in shootouts every week, we are likely to end up on the losing side.

I agree with that completely
