How did UNC lose to UGA?

UNC is one of the classic reasons why everyone thinks the ACC sucks- they always öööö the bed OOC.

They were a good team this year and last, yet lost to a bad UGA team this year and an awful (3-9) South Carolina team last year in their openers. They also got blown out by East Carolina in 2014 and lost to USC(e) again in 2013. They've also had some pretty bad bowl experiences lately- getting blown out by Rutgers and Baylor the past two years.

Because Carolina got flagged for a bogus ineligible receiver downfield that replay clearly showed was incorrect and they added unsportsmanlike conduct when Fedora argued the call. It backed them up to their own endzone.

UNC > UGA, and that much was obvious from watching the game. Tar Holes were in complete control until penalties completely derailed them and the dumbass safety flipped the momentum.

No way Saxon. GT doesnt have the D this year.
I think we match up well with UGA. We'll definitely put up points, but we won't be able to stop UGA (or any other team). The good thing is that their offense sucks so badly, they will probably stop themselves a few times.

Fedora has a revised contract that has been sitting on his desk since the Summer that he hasn't signed. I won't be shocked if he gets a look at LSU, Texas, ND, A&M if any of those teams make a move this year. He is from Texas.......

Something else to consider. UGA's defense has done a nice job this year, ranked #11 while replacing most of the front seven. On the other hand, Smart and his staff don't have the experience against the TO that Richt's people did. These freshmen and sophs haven't played your offense, and I expect them to struggle bad against it in the first half at least. This game and the kind of games our D have done well in are two different things. UGA may be a two or three point favorite in this game, but I still think it's a toss-up. I'd actually almost feel better if it wasn't in Athens, where you guys get your wins in this series. On the plus side for us, Eason and the downfield game are coming around.

Ranked #11 in what? (serious Q, not trolling).

FWIW, FootballOutsiders has y'all's offense as #90 most efficient in country.

I think he meant to say Defense; hence the use of the words "front seven."

UGA is 11th in the country in Def YPG.

It is called UGA damn luck. I knew when Kentucky went for the tying field goal instead of going for the throat that the game was over a few weeks back and UGAg would win

Hearing Fedora might be headed to Texas A&M to replace Sumlin if he loses to LSU which is very likely.

That'd be smart. It's easier to win a national title in the SEC than the ACC.
