Back to the office today after an excellent Thanksgiving Holiday.

Carry 28-27 everywhere you go over the next 362 days...

THWG! ...and their crappy hedges!

Please post stories of your work interactions with dawg fans today. Hey, the guy who comes in to change your trash is still a co-worker technically.

Only one Georgie fan for me here at work.
He has their song as his ringtone. I usually give him hell for it. When I heard it this morning I said it was cool go ahead and play it all day.
He humored me with a laugh but died a little inside.

You get a 'thumbs up' since the guy died a little.

Sunday morning our Pastor (who is a Tech grad), told us several people stopped him before the service and said it would be inappropriate for him to mention the game from the pulpit and he said..."So I won't"....while wearing a gold sweater.

"Don't forget the conference call...should take place around 27 to 28 minutes from now."

"How many people you think will be on the call? I'm guessing 27 to 28 people."

"Bill, you're late to work again...I'd say by how many minutes this time? 28-27???"

Good stuff.

I'm the Division Director here (and as most know on ST I'm a UGA grad). I have UGA and GT alum working here -they all know I'm a devout GT fan and despise UGA.

I went to one UGA alums office this morning and asked, "Is today the 28th or 27th?" Then did a mic-drop and walked back to my office.

Lone UGA grad at our office earlier this morning - "it was a good game, but I'm upset that your players tore up the hedges. It's like tearing down a tree at a national park."

:lolfacepalm:

Give them this, they never run out of new ways to describe their glorious team and its unmatched tradition in new and exciting, completely idiotic ways. There's more mutthurt to be mined in one day from one Georgia fan following a loss to us - over their stupid ööööing azalea bushes - than you could have ever squeezed from their entire fan base when that dude from Kentucky set their library on fire.

I remember that Kentucky dude. Both of the books in the library were lost and only one had been colored in. Devastating.

I remember the headlines after that happened. "UGA reportedly has library."

Basically was talking about Chubb along the lines of "#28 had a good game, that's Chubb right?"

You probably can guess the rest.

dwag "fans" (don't think any u(sic)gag grads work here) at my work are vewy, vewy quiet today.

Tell them we are just following the storied SEC tradition of destruction of vegetation post victory. I mean it is not like we burned them down.
