Clemson Secures Nation's #1 QB Recruit

Playing in Washington State probably will do that to a kid. I wonder if he would have even started for a top Georgia high school team?

Probably would have. He has great physical abilities but hasn't had the coaching to make them effective, and hasn't been toughened up. Growing up in a better league or playing for a decent QB developing coach (e.g. Richt) really would have helped.

As it stands, he'll probably lose his starting job next season then transfer out, use a red shirt, then come back as an outstanding player for a school like Ohio State or Miami. But he could have been a Heisman contender if he went somewhere other than uGA to start.

Looks like a cousin ööööing Lannister. Lancel, Jaime at least could throw hands before he lost one.

Are you sure? He looks more like a scrappy hi-motor type to me.
I watched only one offensive possession of his team's that night and he took them down field. He's tall, very agile, with a good arm. For his size, he moves around very well, IMO.

He is poised, stands in the pocket nicely, and has no hesitation if and when he has to tuck it and run.

More like "Holy Spicoli" if you ask me.

Cut the guy a break - he decided not to go to uGA, and I respect him for that.
Yeah, anyone who spurns UGA, Alabama or Ohio State is A-okay with me. I don't like Bama or tOSU because they get too many good recruits. I'm a hater.
