How did we lose to Pitt?

They had a 3rd and 10 from their own 30 down 7 with 4 minutes to go and threw a duck, had our S jump it, tip it, and miraculously end up in their TEs hands. That's how.

I suppose I'd trade that for the UGA win, but Pitt has not been better than us either of the last two seasons.

I really don't get how people don't understand that football is a game of probabilities and huge variances. It's not hard for a 9-3 quality team to have a losing season via bad luck. 2014 was not much different than 2016 for us other than a couple of plays, and both seasons could have been very disappointing. College football is not pro baseball, where a billion games are played and there is enough time for the results to get into law-of-large numbers territory.

I think Pitt was a good team this past year that had their öööö together earlier in the season than we did. I think we were better in the end. I think if we played 100 games against them in 2015 and 2016, we'd win 50 of them in 2015 and 70 of them in 2016.

I think people that watch a single game and go "oh wow they are losing to X how did we lose" suck at both math and sports.

Pitt was straight torching people at the end of the season. I would have wanted no part of them in November.
