He'll be missed. Hate the team, not the people.

Except Kirby Smart. I'm just playing. Until he can beat us, I love they guy!

I hate reading this. Prayers to his family.

I have, not once, ever read or heard anything negative about this man. I think he, from his actions at games, represented the best of what a college football fan should be.

I had hoped his health issue was resolved. I was amazed at his weight loss after his surgery.

Too bad the rest of the gagger fans could learn a thing or two from him on how to be a passionate fan. I still will remember his sad face the past few times we beat them.

One thought - was he at the game the last time they won the NC in 1980? He might have been the last thing stopping their inevitable rise to greatness

I hope he's with Jesus as we speak.
I hope his family are able to celebrate his life as much as they mourn his passing.
I hope more fans will follow his example and show you can be a turbofan and still be friendly and respectful.
And I hope it was all a mercy to spare him from what we're going to do to UGA for the next decade. :biggrinangel:

In all seriousness, RIP.

May he rest well. I echo others in that I never heard anything but great/kind words about him. Seemed like an excellent guy.

Next time a dwag says we have no class, please forward this thread.
Can't believe we're putting aside our sports hate for this. I'm proud of all of you.
F'ing disgusted, but still proud.

Weirdly I know the answer to this...yes, he was there with his dad who at that time was the one who wore the bulldog on his head. I've seen replays of that game on espn classic and they showed him and his dad and it's funny seeing the old uga painted on his dad's head compared to what he used. My inlaws always talk about how nice this guy is.

Does GT glitter head overalls guy still come to Tech games? I used to always see him in the UE. He's a really nice guy too. Sorry if the nickname offends you glitterhead, my family has nicknames for everyone in the UE.
