I've wanted to do this for a while, but I imagine it may come out differently than we expect. Some alumni networks are very helpful towards their SA's.
And Tech is, as well. There are a few companies in the area that have entire departments filled with GT SAs.

At a school like Alabama, there are basically three options: (1) NFL, (2) the guys who were major contributors will find jobs from boosters working as a used car salesman in rural Alabama, (3) unemployed and living in mom's basement (which, in fact, is where Brendan Douglas is).

The difference coming out of a Tech Business degree is that (3) basically doesn't exist. That program has a 96+% offer rate at a $60+K salary. So if the NFL doesn't work out, and the boosters don't help, there's a very nice backstop to help you out. On top of that, there's an option (4) Tech offers that most other schools don't: some of our SAs land 6 figure jobs right out of undergraduate.

We should do a "where are they now" series. We can point out to recruits how Brendan Douglas lives at home in his mom's basement after switching his commitment to uGA. Meanwhile Isiah Willis is making 6 figures in consulting.
Something like Rob Lowe?

I am a Georgia Tech alumn and I have DirecTV. And I am a UGA alumn and I install cable.

No big loss here. The jackets can take a licking and keep on kicking.

So what's with the commitment to Starkvegas if he was already getting interest from Tuscaloosa?

Sounds like Saban lost his kicker recently, a December signing period probably would have made this kid a jacket

Why y'all still talking about this guy? Y'all going to be obsessed with the Bama kicker for the next year and a half? Since that's how long he'll last once he starts chokin' and gets yanked by Sabes.

Because there's nothing else to talk about.
