Ole Miss officials announced on Wednesday that they're self-imposing a one-year bowl ban for the 2017 season, after the university received a new NCAA notice of allegations that accused the school of lack of institutional control and that Rebels head coach Hugh Freeze failed to monitor his coaching staff.

The new NCAA notice of allegations, which the university received on Wednesday morning, included eight new alleged rules violations and the lack of institutional control charge. The NCAA has now accused the Rebels of 21 rules violations by current or former members of their football coaching staff.

So how many sec titles does he have to vacate for this? I mean, at least Auburn won it all when they bought Cam.

They beat Bama twice in a row. That make them de facto national champs in 2014 and 2015.

And still nothing for UNCheat and their attrocious academic fraud.
Coaching at UNC is kind of like being in recovery for cheaters. The program ultimately does nothing, the cheaters talk about growth and success in life while realizing that no number of relapses is going to whip North Carolina into a championship program. This realization increases the probability of relapse. Butch Jones will be there in a few years, after his improprieties are discovered and punishment dealt to the Tennessee program rather than the coach himself, obviously.

Because giving players money and gifts to play football with the opportunity of getting a degree is bad. Giving the players no benefits and no chance at a real degree is OK.

Well, Hugh Freeze made the most of it. I believe he made over $15M since 2012 with Ole Miss. Honestly, I'd cheat like a mother@#$%er, too, for $15M in 5 years. So he gets fired and can live a very comfortable life not in Mississippi.

Well, no chance at a real degree is applicable to both situations.

So does this mean we really didn't lose the Music City Bowl in 2013?

No, we still lose, on the grounds of the double reverse WR pass play from our own 15 with all the momentum on our side after Gotsis blocked a chip shot FG.

Would have worked if we blocked the DE.
