VT was in the backfield most of that game. When MJ has time he can make good throws.
Josh Jordan is gonna be great. But then TaJosh Marshall/ Josh Johnson/ Josh Jones might come in at times for a change of pace
True story, if you gave me a bucket of first names and a bucket of last names for all of our quarterbacks, I don't think I could pair them all correctly without google. I am pretty much the worst fan in history.
BIIIIIILBOOOOOO
I can attest to this.FWIW, he did awesome as Tech's QB with Navy offense in NCAA 2003
I have said I do worry if we have a QB capable of throwing the back shoulder throw to the WR. JT5 was nearly perfect throwing that pass. Correct timing, correct velocity. A duck on throws like that is an interception. That play got a lot of first downs for us with JT5 at QB.Trust me, our offense cannot succeed in the long term without a competent [somewhat] passing quarterback. Check out
last years games.
If we have a taller QB that is a threat to throw over the middle, the comeback and back shoulder routes will be significantly easier to complete. That was JT's biggest weakness, IMO.I have said I do worry if we have a QB capable of throwing the back shoulder throw to the WR. JT5 was nearly perfect throwing that pass. I prefer neither at the moment, but I would say those who like Jones are enamored with his Thomas like speed. For those of you that like Jay Jones over Lucas Johnson, or vice-versa can you explain why?
