Great FTRS article on the belly series

Came here for bikini pics, am disappoint.

That kind of thing helps me remember... Brent Venables is a lot smarter than me. IIWII.

Thanks, OP. I always enjoy these types of in depth analyses to give a better understanding of the offense and the strategy game within the game.

Should have tackled the QB before he got to the line. Best way to stop that play.

Almost feel like this is a legit "delete in one hour" type post. Yes, this helps us understand the offense better, but for a guy like Bud Foster, we're doing all the homework for him.

On another note, this is why Lucas Johnson is my top pick for our QB. He is big enough to run midline, QB follow and the Belly option, and still quick enough to run the basic 3O play and the counter-option.

This. We had a good thing going, we went 9 seasons without giving away our secrets and now they're available for anyone. We're lucky nobody in Athens can read.

I would be amazed to discover Bud Foster doesn't know the belly series.

In fact, where the article talks about shooting gaps with OLBs to mess with the count.. ..thats a direct reference to the thing VT does when they split their end out wide and fill the gap with the field side linebacker.
