It would be more precise to have a butthurt scale, comparing it to other Tech events. I would place the game cancelation at the "Vad Lee transfer" level. Might hurt us but might be for the best. Well below the "DM dismissal" level or "Loss to MTSU" level, but a little higher than the "UT kicking game" level.

After the offense steamrolling UT then sputtering against JSU (short turnaround, I know), I think another game against a weak FBS opponent would have helped get the offense in the right gear for ACC season. Wouldn't have hurt the D to see another offense, either.
