Can they suspend a player for targeting after the game? On Wake's next to last offensive play, #70 hit Step Durham with the crown of his helmet when the play was basically over. Step was hurt on the play. I think it should've been called

I thought it was 70 (as I mentioned in another thread). I was hoping someone would go in and end that ööööers season after that play. I was pissed.

I was calm and collected the whole game. I absolutely lost it then. I'm not much on hurting someone , but, at that moment, I wished he, the refs, and the entire state of North Carolina would burn.

I don’t want people hurt either. That hit on Durham was legit dirty though and you could tell from the stands that it was a hit thrown with the intent to injure. When that happened I wanted him in some serious pain.

Looks like a late hit and targeting

Unfortunately the tv cameras didn't pick up all the chippiness at the end to see how it got started, but apparently there were some cheap shots taken by both teams. I did see one of the GT players pick up and throw a WF player's mouthpiece that fell out while trash talking after the pick. That was pretty funny.

I think it was one of the Austin’s that flew off our sideline when the game ended and was going across field to settle a score. Two coaches were right behind and held him back from it.

From what I understand, he got his on the interception. Someone got their clock cleaned after the defense was allowed to hit everyone...

It was #70 who gave Durham the cheap shot. It was #75 that one of our guys "jacked up" after the interception. (Happened right in front of us, you could see it developing)

Hit on Durham, he's at at the top of the screen. Clearly hit well after the whistle. You can see #99 put his arms out, gesturing to the refs.

Lots of penalties all around by Wake this game. The repeated false starts were aggravating, but this hit was unnecessary.

Shortly before the interception two of our DBs were jawing with one of the Wake receivers (nearest the Tech sideline) just before the snap — I’m not sure what the beef was, but I approve of the pugnacity.

What goes on after an interception is simply brutal. I’m always amused when the defenders realize, “Hey! I can lay out ANYONE I WANT with impunity...”. Folks within a few yards of them just getting destroyed.... oh the humanity!!!
