Belk Bowl asking r/CFB's opinion for ACC/SEC matchup

Not sure how many of you guys peruse r/CFB regularly, but saw BelkBowl start this discussion and thought you'd be interested. A good amount would like to see a Tech/SC matchup. Probably the bowl destination I'm most hopeful for.

I would rather not play an SEC team in a bowl. I said this last year too. We have played so many SEC teams lately. Let's expand our horizons. I guess the Belk bowl is ACC vs SEC so I don't want the Belk Bowl.

Would love the Belk Bowl versus the Gamecocks.
If not that it’d be cool to play Texas A&M
Either of these would be pretty cool, though I think I'd personally prefer the Aggies.

Maybe there's a joke/troll here I'm missing but I can't agree. I like beating SEC schools and several of the teams I'd most like to see us play are in that league. We can expand our horizons when it's mandated by the CFP seeding.

Beating a middling SEC team is still worth more in credibility terms than beating a middling Pac 12 (or whomever) team. And — more importantly from my perspective — I'd rather play a close-by team than a far away team because most of us know a lot of SEC alumni but not as many Pac 12 (or whatever) alumni.

I'd love to play USCe in a bowl game. They're gonna end up being one of the worst 8 win SEC teams ever. Their best win was against an ACC team that outgained them 504-246 and had 29 first downs to USC's 12.
