In no game between FBS teams this year did a team score on more possessions by percentage than Duke (89%).

The closest I found was Alabama vs. Ole Miss, where Bama scored on 75% of their possessions (9/12).

That is because we are the worst defense in FBS. Ted doesn't know how to scheme up a decent blitz package, has our DB's playing soft on the WR's, combine this with poor tackling angles and the inability to get ball carriers to the ground. Yeah I would say we are the worst.

I'm tired of everyone ööööting on roof.

PJ 0/3 on defensive coordinators. At some point you have to blame the boss.

And let's also not ignore the offensive problems either.
ME TOO! We should get rid of Roof so he doesn't have to take this öööö!

Boy, that yesterday was a nightmare, wasn't it?

I bet fat boy down at UGAg is putting together a game plan over coffee this morning. The notes are "8-10 yards off WR's, throws open" "DL weak, run the ball" "linebackers slow, run or throw"

We may confuse UGAg's game plan with how much we appear to give up on any type of play. Pretty much pick a play out of a hat and run it. Maybe even tell us what you are going to run - for öööös and giggles. "Hey, we are running a bubble screen!" "OK, we'll stay 10 yards off the LOS"

I wonder if Cutcliffe was saying to himself "Well, that worked, I wonder if this will work. Damn, that worked too! I wonder about this play, it never works. Army threw it for a loss last week....damn, that one worked too!"

This right here. The next person fired should not be Roof, period. If Stans doesn't have the balls then it should be him.

It was shocking and horrifying. The only acceptable excuse is academic exhaustion due to loaded projects and tests before thanksgiving.

Who hired Ted? The Teflon Don?

And I wonder if CPJ was put under pressure to hire CTR because he was a “Tech man”?

If not TIC, then we need either a bye week or a true cupcake in week 12 going forward, not a conference game. We shouldn't be bulldozing our cupcakes early in the season and get worn down over the long haul. Need to do it SEC style.

You know, there is a lot of truth in your statement. I for one have always believed this was a problem. Hell, it was for me as a regular student. Projects due, upcoming exams, wondering if you are actually going to pass a certain class. This is a real problem and kudos to you for bringing it up. These kids are real students with real workloads, not Parks & Recreation majors that only require 50% class attendance to pass. They are under pressure constantly both athletically & academically. As Tech grads, I think we need to realize this. Doesn't make me feel any better after getting drilled by Duke, but we do need to acknowledge this fact.

We didn't have any problem demolishing Miami back in 2008 the week before Thanksgiving. Outside of struggling with UGA, I don't recall us typically struggling in an inordinate amount of late season games. Duke players have projects to work on, too. We just got our asses beat.

What offensive problems? Have you seen our Team Rushing Stats? We scored 20 pts in ONE HALF against Duke. Let's be honest - Duke is waaaaaaaaay better than their record, losing closely to the best Army team in a half-century.

20 pts (including a goose-egg in the 2nd half) should be more than enough against teams like Duke.

Probably encouraged to hire Roof because he was a "Tech man"; but I doubt DC's were knocking down the door waiting for a chance to work at GT under CPJ.

SO--the "offense" gets a total "pass"---INCREDIBLE!
I don’t think the offense is getting a pass. I’m certainly not giving them one. They scored zero in the 2nd half vs Duke. That’s criminal.

But the offense did score 20 points. The defense didn’t stop Duke all game. They literally let Duke destroy them.

It’s upsetting when PJ gets in his post game and seems to place the blame on the defense saying stuff along the lines of we were down 17 in the second half before we got the ball. That’s obviously not true. He needs to own that the offense stunk
