Sounds like we’re finally in agreement the defense is a raging öööö hole and doomed this season.

It is the talent level, not the in game coaching that is killing us. As I said in the game thread, I see no one on our defense that starts on another bowl eligible ACC team. Jeune and Braun may be the only ones on offense that would start on a bowl eligible ACC team. You can't go into the season with that few playmakers and expect magic out of the DC and OC.

If there is a bright spot it will be that CPJ and CTR both have talent that they redshirted this year that will pull us out of the abyss; but that is probably wishful thinking.
