If you want to see this team compete, there's only one thing you can do. If you 80k, $1000 a year is 1.25% of your income. You've gotta decide if you want this team to be exciting for future generations of fans, or if you want your 20 bucks a week instead.

I don't blame our fans for not wanting to waste their time with that. I don't blame those people who will quit being fans either. Everybody has their reasons, but have a chat with yourself and if you really want tech football to be consistently competitive, what you gotta do is pick up the chain and pull. It ain't gonna happen on it's own.

I would do that in a heart beat if there were assurances of how that would improve our program. Some poor guy donated millions for an indoor practice facility, something uga has been begging for for years, but no results. In fact it hurt us in rainy games.

Whether or not you can come to the games, buy season tickets. And don't sell them. Give them to friends or a charity if you don't want them wasted. But buying season tickets is the best thing you can do to help the GTAA on an individual basis.
 
Quality post. Dead on. Bitching and moaning will do nothing.
If you support Johnson, donate and give him a fighting chance.
If you don’t, pony up some cash for someone else.
 
Great post. The program needs financial support, period. Bitching on the internet doesn't move anything forward.

More stingtalkers should be season ticket holders.
 
IPKAY? I pay $1k a year? Hell, I'd do more than that for extra access/perks but there's no direct route then to just mail a check into a black hole and have no clue where the money is going. Heck, I tried to decipher my AT letter this year, I couldn't understand where I stood or what I am supposed to be trying to get to.
 
Not buying any more tickets as long as CPJ is the coach. Will add $ normally spent on those to A-T donation which I hope to increase as is.

No more tickets to watch the Ego and his punk OL coach.

Idk man. It drives me crazy to see Bobby Dodd packed with dwags. "Fans" and our genius alumni sell their tickets. Why should I donate in hopes that we improve so that our fair weather fans (genius alumi) can benefit?

Somehow GT fans have convinced themselves that dwag fans pilfer money from GTAA when they buy tickets secondhand
 
This is a great post. I have two young grandchildren. My five year old granddaughter came to our house and brought a picture of Buzz and the GT logo, which she had drawn and colored. But, if we don't contribute to the program and write letters urging the administration to support Tech football and do everything else we can to help, there might not be any Tech games for her to go to, when she gets older. And my grandson wants to go to Tech. It would be tragic if we let the football program die, while we are the ones who can do something to help it right now. I don't care who the coaches are, I just want Tech football to stay alive and be the very best that it can be.
