UCF and Wisconsin are about equal levels in my mind - one won their championship and the other didn’t. Pretty sure that’s all it came down to.

Wisconsin had a better resume than Alabama. Making it a comparison of OSU vs Bama was an intentional distraction from this fact.

I think with the win over Auburn, who beat both Bama and uGA, UCF proved they deserved a shot. Unfortunately, nothing can be done about it now, and nothing will be said about it from the pundits because SEC.

Ucf should be ap champion. Split national championship!!! I also may be hedging in case the smelly ones from the east pull out two more wins.

If you can’t win your conference you don’t deserve to be in the conversation for the National Championship.

Saying Bama was “better” so they deserve it is the same moronic argument that gave a share of our championship to Colorado.
I used to think that, but now that conference teams play uneven schedules, I'm not so sure.

So much butthurt and bigcry.

Clemson laying an egg is now Bama's fault. Or the committee's fault.

I want a system that values conference championships as part of the playoff. I want a system that gives G5 teams a seat in the playoffs. Ideally for me, it is a 6 team, 5 game playoff that includes all P5 champions and the highest-ranked G5 conference champion.

That said, when a non-conference champion completely dominates a conference champion, it definitely undermines the argument.

Can we quit with the UCF chicken conspiracy theory? My old National Guard unit was staged at UCF. I have no idea what they were doing when they were there, but I am sure they didn't stay there, or were their activities directed at the behest of the Golden Knight Athletic Association to avoid playing Georgia Tech in what would have been the biggest game played on their campus all year. Acting like there was some nefarious reason for UCF to forgo all that revenue from a meeting with GT in September, is the most retart thing going.
