Just did a drive-by on the dwag rant...

I'm not going to lie, this doesn't look great:

The non-INT was legit though. Overall I thought the refs had a good game, the terrible miss above notwithstanding.

Their WR took about 2 steps before the snap on their game-tying TD. UGA also had a punt block called back because of a non-offside offsides.

All in all, I think the crew did a bang-up job, and I hope the SEC considers using them for future games in the greater Athens area.

What am I looking at?

Edit: I see now. Receiver gets a head start. Should've been called, but those things happen. I see players start a few tenths of a second early fairly often and not get called for it.

Bama probably got the edge in how the officiating shaked out, but UGA also got a TD on a play that in all likelihood their receiver stepped out of bounds on. Bottom line, they blew the game.

Falcons also got the short end of some calls during the Patriots' comeback last year, but that's no excuse for choking away a championship.

I’m not sure either. Any questionable “pick” happens after the ball is caught. Maybe holding on O Line? Play is clean to me.

Are you saying it was offensive PI on the crossing WR? The WR had a step or two on the DB, I don't think it affected the outcome. UGA grabbed Bama's inside receiver by the jersey earlier in the play

The bottom WR takes about 4 steps before the snap.

Eh, he gets a slight head start and should have been flagged, but let's not act like he had passed the line of scrimmage or something before the snap. He probably gets one step in before the snap and another step or so before the snap reaches the QB.

People, the bottom WR took off before the snap. It should've been a false start.

Oh yeah, he false started. He didn't affect the play though, UGA just wanted a gift on a technicality

It's easy not to notice since he didn't have any impact on the play

Yep. That's the point, guys. The refs definitely screwed UGA. Saban probably paid them off. They should definitely be bitter about it - at least for the next 38 years when they'll get their next chance to choke away another chance at a title.

öööö that. I was at the Bobo GT/UGAg flag game. I was at the bullshit PI called on us when Stafford was their QB. I witnessed the BS Reggie fumble that should have been blown dead. I witnessed the TD allowed to UGAg on Justin Thomas ' TD run. öööö UGAg and their crybaby fans. Karma bitches.

Was watching coaches channel. Blocked punt was actually a false start first. Had it been called right, 5 yards and another punt.
