2015 against top 10 uga: 24-3 half-time lead on the way to a 38-10 rout
2012 at the SECCG: uga had 28-10 lead, only to lose with clock-running out on them at 5-yard-line
2008 against #3 uga: the infamous blackout game, unbeaten uga, 31-0 half-time lead
2003 at the SECCG: absolutely destroyed uga 34-13, and that was the second time he beat uga that year!

Uga hasn't beaten bama since 2007. They only get to those postseason championship games by avoiding bama in the regular season.

He is also revered by a fan base that’s not Bama.
 
I mean, kudos to him for benching an experienced starting QB and starting a freshman. It might be easy to dislike Saban, but he knows what he's doing.
 
It’s great having Saban as the new Spurrier to UGA, but what is really needed is a new Spurrier in the SEC East. UGA and USCe usually played early in the season, so it was always good when Spurrier came out on top and UGA was essentially playing catch-up to USCe for the remainder on the season.
 
Uga getting dreams destroyed by Bama in the postseason is hilarious.

But let’s not forget that uga getting to sec game and beyond is the result of some funny business by sec office. The sec has been clamoring for uga to do something, so uga rarely faces the traditional west powers other than auburn. Recall that when A&M and Missouri were added, Georgia lost a regular season matchup with Bama and other big west meets were lost as well.

Chick Graning was 50+ years ago. Dodd and Bear made up and Alabama supported us when we attempted to return to the SEC, at least I believe they did. Your hate should be directed towards the Mississippi schools and UGAg - I believe they are the ones that voted not to allow our re-admission onto the SEC.
