Pretty much this. Wouldn't give a öööö if the refs were blatantly tripping players. Mutts lost and in a year or two nobody will even remember they were there.

And that's that.

+1000.

I commented on another thread that I thought the refs did an excellent job and that the SEC should consider poaching them from the B1G.

Did the refs leave a man wide open down the sideline on second and 26 in overtime? No? Then shut the öööö up about them being the reason U[sic]GA lost.

Oh öööö. Jf77 even got andrew cussin.

Never in my life as Tech fan did I think I would have to explain to other Tech "fans" why they shouldn't console U[sic]GA fans with kind words after a loss. I mean, Jesus Christ.

Tech fans are a varied bunch and have plenty of different perspectives, but if we can't even have hating U[sic]GA in common, what are we left with?

But the refs...

Jf77, you had to know you'd get öööö for this over here. The ref excuse seems a little ridiculous to me. Hard to blame the refs when you blow two 13 point leads. Just like GT did vs. Um

I hate terribly officiated games as much as anyone, but I still don't buy it. There were 3 calls that didn't go UGAg's way, but you absolutely cannot determine how any of them would've affected the outcome. The two I mentioned above and then on Bama's TD to tie with the WR moving early. If that gets called, Bama may be going FG there instead which makes it a 4 point game. Then when they get the ball at the end, they would be trying much harder to score rather than run clock and manage field position for the potential walk-off kick. Even if they still went for it after the penalty was called and didn't get it, they would again still be trying for a TD at the end and not playing for a last second FG attempt. Also, I know that would've been a dead ball foul if called and the rest of play wouldn't have mattered anyway but what about the blatant defensive hold (horsecollar snatch) on the slot receiver that same play that didn't get called? And the step OOB on UGA's heave and prayer lone TD in the 2nd half that didn't get called? Refs didn't influence the outcome as much as you're thinking. You're sympathizing too much.

We have all had games where bad calls either cost a game or made it closer than it should be, but to apologize to another team for win with bad calls is not necessary.

Hey! Just wanted to post in this thread.
Just wanted to post in this thread... to say what ridiculousness (a) that a Tech fan would ever apologize for a UGA loss for whatever reason or (b) that other Tech fans would be surprised at the fact that some Tech fans don't hate UGA as much as we'd like.

JF77 or whatever the hell you call yourself, you are no Tech fan. Get that bulldog out of your ass and head over to that ööööhole they call Athens where you belong.

UGAg lost. Get over it. Stop being a bitch ho.
Sorry not sorry. I wanted them to be decimated by Bama not ööööed over by refs, which is what happened on several plays. I don’t give a öööö who it is, it happens too often in big games and I will never ööööing forget Ron Cherry. Never.
If the refs screw the dawgs and they lose that is a great day for me! If you were really a Tech fan you would feel the same. Quit masquerading as a Tech fan and get the hell of this site bitch!!
