Give it a year or two.Atleast we aren't Nebraska.
So would theyI would trade coaches with Nebraska today.
If you think 26 million dollars is a discount, then yes.So you're telling me we can buy Scott Frost at a discount?
So would they
This. Frost will have them doing well soon. Nebraska has a player problem right now.Talked to a guy at my kids tball game yesterday. Big Nebraska guy - dad and cousin both were starting QB's or something back in the day. Insider apparently. CSB, I know. Anyways, I asked him about what was going on there - said basically a mutiny by some of the seniors on the team who were loyal to prior coach. Toxic locker room situation, players quitting on the team, etc. Ex coach has convinced several players to transfer away as well. Dude I talked to believes once these seniors are gone and everyone else has bought in, they'll see some success. He doesn't expect it this year though. Take it for what it's worth...
In other words, the same thing that happened when Bobby Ross came here.Talked to a guy at my kids tball game yesterday. Okay Paul, let's not get carried away. The kid had a good game, but his team is 1-6.Nebraska got their win.
His QB rating against MN was almost 200 - nearly 20 points higher than Ohio St's QB rating against MN. If he can fix the interceptions, NB won't lose many more.Okay Paul, let's not get carried away. The kid had a good game, but his team is 1-6.
Yeah, if he can play like that every game, they'll be great. Let's take a look at what information we have that indicates how frequently he might play like that, though, before projecting that he will. Saying "his ceiling is sky high" is fine, he's now shown that he has the capability to play like a man possessed. That's not really what Paul is saying. His QB rating against MN was almost 200 - nearly 20 points higher than Ohio St's QB rating against MN. If he can fix the interceptions, NB won't lose many more.
