Most amazing stat is that we had 465 yds rushing but longest rush was 16 yds. We really ground it out and them down.

Wow - you have to look pretty hard to find another CPJ game without a 20 yard run, I would think. Even in some of the games where we got reamed (LSU, Iowa, Clemson x5) we would always hit some big plays. It's not too surprising I guess since we aren't really an option team anymore, not with Oliver anyway. This is a power team. Screw the spread. Tobias is a freakin wishbone QB.
 
I thought we had a 21 yard gain, but I was sipping a bourbon

Several times they were thisclose to breaking loose. It feels like it's been like that all season. Always on the cusp of a big play, but never able to break free.
 
Yep, we had some wide open fields in front of us last night and couldn’t break one more tackle (and in one case, seemed to just trip).

I like this offense, but last night, even I was thinking “this is what people have in mind when they say the O is boring.” But how boring can it really be when you score 49 points at will and put a historic beat down on a rival in their place? Would it be more exciting to pass 50 times and lose? I don’t need style points, I just like to win.
