I think CPJ's finally done with Taquon

Dude, I just said TQM can play AB and move back to QB if TO got hurt - effectively remaining the bsckup.
Sure, man. Don't make no sense to me, but reasonable minds disagree about whether people get to choose their genders. Reasonable minds could certainly disagree about this.

Yeah that seems relevant

Marshall was an A-back and should be one again. You put him there because I believe he might be one of your best options. He has the ability to make people miss which very few do.

My problem with TO is when the option is called, before the play even starts he's got it in his head to keep the ball, not even looking if the B back will gain some yards. That happened at least 3 times today. Had he let Howard or Mason have the ball, 8-10 yds fer sure. Hope it doesn't burn them the rest of the season
Got a feeling he's #1 now.

I thought he was gonna send him back in after the fumble. He decided to stick with Tobias. I think Tobias will start Miami game.

TQM might very well have the same feelings towards the coach.

If this is so obvious, why did TQM start the season?

I hope his injuries heal up, and I hope TO can keep doing what he has and adds more to the O.

Both great athletes that I believe could contribute in their own way.

Moving tqm doesn't make sense. We have a very solid rotation of abacks. We'd be putting mileage and risking injury to our backup of the most important position to a position where we have plenty of depth and experience. (And he probably wouldnt start there anyway).

Whether TO is proficient with enough of the playbook to start over TQM could be debated. He looked better today than he has earlier this season, but he did make some mistakes.

The cross charge/stunts gave TQM a lot of trouble on the reads. I was wondering if TQM would do better if CPJ called an easier game like TO. Then TO came in and did some great reading.

TQM did better in space and would do better with less reads. I think TO may be better at reads given some time....

My thinking is taquan would be great at most spots, but with CPJ it’s about the number of reps you give him

TO has looked good every time he’s gotten in a game. The only difference today was that you saw him run a wider variety of plays. Kid has lead scoring drives at a high rate all year.

CPJ wants TO to be his QB, but he knows TO prob can’t carry the ball again 40x/game like he did vs VT. So he gives TQM 2 drives to lessen the burden on TO going forward, and he’s also slowly adding a 1-2 plays / week to his reportoire. Teams also have to prep for 2 QB which helps us too.

what the hell is a cross charge? why is tqm bringing corporate finance into the game??

We need teams to keep prepping for the option (TM) while we are a zone blocking power running team (TO). If TO starts and miami is prepped for the power run game, we need to be able to switch back to the 3O. Even if we only practice the 3o/counter/play action pass. That would only be about a 7 play set to practice.
