Briles & Louisville

Well, the öööö that chain stores sells isn't pizza.
Way too much cheese, not enough toppings. Pizza should basically be an open face sandwich. The dough and cheese are just carriers for the toppings. But somehow in the US, you get inch thick dough and 90% of the calories from cheese.

Anyone want to speculate on job openings in the ACC?
My guess:
UNC
FSU
Louisville
And VT if they fold down the stretch.
FSU might miss a bowl for the first time in 37 or so years. VT might be in the same situation with their bowl streak. We are very close to the Gaggers having the longest bowl streak....2009 hurts so bad

If Petrino is out, isn't Briles a shoo-in @ Louisville? They won't give two cents about his past history and will be able to provide him with plenty of borderline academically-qualified players with bad reputations.

No way. I think the more likely scenario is they hire the football version of Chris Mack (someone squeaky clean) and then all the talk radio shows will be shouting about how it's nice that "class" has returned to Louisville in its two major sports...until that new coach puts up a losing season or two, then they'll resurrect the sleaze.

As someone who lives in Louisville, that was the most frustrating thing about the Petrino re-hire. The fan base used to laugh and take extreme pleasure in his post-Louisville escapades and deride the level of YUCK he oozed until he became their coach again and all was forgiven (and forgotten). A similar thing happened when Calipari became UK's head basketball coach. He went from the biggest slime ball in sports according to that fanbase to the greatest dude ever. I suppose it's all relative and winning really is the only thing.

I öööö you not one of the team rules in the film room at UofL, while Charlie strong was coach, was "don't use a gun". Just shows you the type of guys Louisville recruits. Keeping it clean isn't their style.

FSU can't fire Taggart in his first year, and nor should they. Jimbo left him a steaming pile of öööö that's gonna take 2-3 years minimum to turn around.

UNC should have already fired Fedora. He'll be gone.

Don't know what Louisville will do. If they think they can get Brohm, then Petrino's gone.

VT probably can't fire Fuente yet. They had a lot of injuries this year, so he probably gets one more year.

Ironically, much of the talk about Strong when he took over for Kragthorpe was about how he was much more a "molder of men" than his predecessors. I think Jeff Brohm is the only choice for the Louisville job...but he could very well turn it down. In that case, all bets are off.

Jimbo left a steaming pile of gold at fsu. They would have been a better team last year had Jimbo not been looking around. Taggart is a ööööty coach.

Fuente has a pretty strong record at Vt excluding us. No need to fire him.

You are right. If you want to see something, go to Warchant. 90% want Taggart gone, and there is a thread urging FSU to go after Paul Johnson

That would serve some of us right.

Way too much awesome. Pizza should basically be awesome. The awesome and awesome are awesome carriers for more awesome. But thankfully in the US, you get inch thick awesome and 90% of the awesome from awesome.

Borrowed friend's login....reading the Warchant thread now. Some good laughs in there.

Do they mention we run a high school offense?
Not exactly. Called it a gimmick. Others were pointing out that Taggart's Gulf Coast Offense could be also considered a gimmick. They concluded that being lousy isn't the same thing as being a gimmick.

Way too early for FSU to be opened up , Taggart will get at least 2>3 more years. Louisville could bite the bullet & give Petrino another year if he wants to stay.UNC probably will not pony up what it would take to get rid of Fedora. I don't see VT making a move either.

Post some screenshots so we can enjoy their misfortune.
