For the curious, here are CPJ's and CMR's post-game pressers...

Good place for me to drop in my congrats for getting that win over Miami and Richt. Early in the season, Tech would have been a heavy underdog--shows GT has improved over the weeks while Miami, though very talented, has gone the other way. A very good win for GT.

There are quite a few Tech fans who decided to stay off the boards tonight because we won so the "fire CPJ" posts they worked on all week will have to wait at least another week.

But Saxon takes the time to stop by and tip his hat (much obliged).

So to all the Tech fans who are staying low because the game didn't support your narrative, be advised that you just got a lesson in class from a Georgia fan.

Or maybe we were at the game

CPJ made some fantastic adjustments after half to counter the speed of Miami. Almost as if parts of the original plan were scrapped.

What I didn't get was why did we go away from the option/counter option that we ran on the 1st drive? We pitched a lot on that drive all for 4+ or so yards and seemed to get down the field and score with relative ease. It seemed much harder to keep drives going after that. Did UM make an adjustment I didn't see or did we adjust something ourselves? I never saw those plays actually get stopped, we just stopped running it.

I don't recall the exact play by play, but I seem to remember some counter options later, maybe not as many. We did seem to make huge adjustments at half that seemed to help blocking a bit.

We started running that fake toss counter that I believe was a designed qb keeper, and it was working well. We may have run the counter option later some also but just didnt pitch or maybe it wasn't open like it was early on.

They started to up stunt or up charge, meaning the dive key was turning his shoulders and charging as if taking the BBack, but he was really taking QB. In other words, we ran the plays, but we got beat.

We adjusted.

Who is staying away out of curiosity? The most vocal anti Paul guys have been positing. I consider myself in the move on group but I’d rather see us keep winning than losing and am happy to eat crow on a weekly basis.
