But also undersized... it’s gonna be ugly for a year or two

I think is a bit of an overreaction. The depth chart at Oline is solid and guys who didn’t contribute now may be key cogs. The biggest beneficiaries of this change,IMO, are the Morgan Twins and Jack Defoors. The weight room will be vital this summer tho

Looks like shotgun zone read to me. What was his red zone efficiency?

I hope it is... I just have nightmares of Dexter Lawrence blowing them off the ball

The pass blocking gives me pause
You can live with it if you roll the pocket, especially with a mobile QB. Clemson and UGa will still eat our lunch with their DL.

My biggest concern is the routes. Stewart ran sharper routes out of HS. Running predominantly go routes made him short passing game worse. We either had smoke routes where the DB was 10 yards off or go routes where our receivers blew past guys shedding blocks.

The last game where we consistently ran comeback routes was Clemson 2014. Smelter and Waller killed them with good body positioning.

That will be missing from our upper classmen this year. Expect, DBs to jump the öööö out of our routes for pick 6’s.

I am on board with Collins if we don’t go crazy with the buyout. 4 years and he should have us some good recruits. After year 3 he better produce because that will be on him. No 6-7 year contracts.

Damn, we ain't even hired a coach and you're predicting pick 6's already

You dodn’t care for the high, uptempo Spread?
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but when I watched Temple (admittedly only once) I saw what looked like a conservative pro style offense. That jives with what I've read on here and other sites, which is that Temple typically uses 21 and 22 personnel. I think that would be a terrible fit for us.

Up tempo spread would be great, especially if we used some option elements.

I quickly watched 2 games and seen only spread

Yeah that looks much better than what I saw. I'd still like to see more option, especially since literally all of our QBs were recruited for it.

Or up tempo gets us killed after a 30 second 3 and out and UGAg getting the ball back and cramming it down our throats.
