I am going to believe that GT can sell Atlanta and one millionaire in six and go negative on living in the cowtowns our competition is located in. I want to believe we can compete in recruiting. By all intents and purposes we have hired the guy to get it done if it can be done.

I think almost all of us want to believe. Only the worst pessimist would disagree, and even they seem on board. I think the best part of this hire is we are goimg to find out for sure if the believers are right or the pessimists. We are as unified as I ever recall. We are damn sure going to try to recruit with UGAy, Clemson, Awbarn, etc.

I do ask that we go in eyes wide open. IF we crash and burn recruiting, well then lets consider admitting the reality that the pessimists were right. I only bring this up cause I like this unity. Feels good. If everyone goes in eyes wide open we will all see the same outcome. I'm optimistic it won't matter.

I agree. GC needs to be given a reasonable amount of time though. No freaking out after two missed bowl seasons. I’m not making Pastner excuses for GC but this will take time.

TS followed the playbook so far: get the big name, then get the big donors to fund the coach and staff. CGC talked up a big game about recruiting big time players every day, so if there’s a guy that can do it we’ve got him. Time to see if it can actually happen. I’m optimistic.

We are going to have to get the best of the best, sir.

I hope it is like a Chris Farley skit in a recruits home. People loved Chris Farley.

I want to believe. But we don't always get what we want. I think recruiting will get a small bump. I don't think it will be a 2007 repeat every year. If we can manage a big recruiting year in 2019 then I will be more inclined to hop on board the hype train, but I'm in wait and see mode for now. We will never have a recruiting advantage, so I still think we need some sort of schematic advantage on offense to compete at the highest level. My heart sank when CGC said "we will have an NFL based offense" during the press conference.

I really think that meant an offense that will get kids ready for the nfl if they want. He also
Said all nfl teams run different offenses. I’m not so worried about that.

Like the Rams and Chiefs? That would be just awful to have offenses like that.

Around here, that means you'll wake up later with your shirt on inside out and backwards and you will feel slightly like a used 95 Corolla
Everybody loves to joke about this, but if you actually get so trashed at the tailgate that you're unconscious hours before kickoff six or seven times, suddenly it's a problem waah we can't carry your lifeless body back and forth from the stadium waaaah oooohh don't talk öööö to that cop waaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh.
