Juanyeh Thomas, All American

I mean, good for him, but did he do that much? Big return against U[sic]GA, another one called back, and a real bad fumble loss against Duke.

I guess when i was watching him, he seemed good but not game-changing as a returner.

What am I missing?

Three non-offensive TDs. Probably not too many frosh that did that as a returner.

Seriously? Young man brought some good to special teams that GT hasn’t had in a long while. Looks to have a bright future.

Congrats Thomas!

Who do you think was a better freshman returner?

All due respect to Juanyeh - but the fresh for USF that ran 2 back against us was pretty good. Not sure how he did the rest of the season though.

Wow, I have no idea what you were watching. Besides being blazing fast, he's extremely hard to tackle. He actually ran 3 kicks back for TDs this season, although one came back on a ridiculous holding call. He is now tied for the CAREER lead in kick return TDs in GT history as a true ööööing freshman. But yeah, not a game changer at all.
