Let’s see them fill the north end zone proper before we start talking about moving ST holders in the lower east.

They're definitely has to be a plan in the works for those South Endzone seats.

It's been strange to watch them go from being one of the rowdiest and fullest student areas in the 2000s to the scattered crowd it is today.

No more south endzone ghetto Buzz and gold fellas?

Didn’t Todd himself introduce some kind of lounge/alcohol/beach area inside the stadium when he was at UCF?

Not only at UCF, but also at Oregon State. He’s done it at both. Nearly half of schools now sell alcohol, and revenue can exceed $1MM per year at a school like TYech, so I think we can do the same. Think of how many more recruiting staff that buys!!

“Known as The Terrace, the 13,000-square foot area will serve beer (offered by a selection of the state’s 194 breweries), wine (ditto for Oregon’s 400 wineries) and food vendors to a group of 600 fans who can view their favorite team’s game on chair back seating.”

“Oregon is recognized all over the world for its incredible culinary excellence and regional, national and international award winning beer, wine and food; it’s a natural to combine what this diverse state has to offer with college football Saturdays on this beautiful campus,” Oregon State AD Todd Stansbury said in a statement earlier this year. “This state is a leader in this country and beyond in food and fermentation science technologies; it’s a perfect addition to have world renowned leaders in these industries right here on campus and in this state add to our game-day experience.”

In his most recent Toddcast released yesterday TS says the student sections will be combined in the north endzone for the 2019 season. I imagine this will displace some season ticket holders in sections 121-123.

I used to be in the NE corner of the lower north endzone until I moved up. Row 6. Those seats suck. Students can have them

Haven't listened, but the south endzone isn't exactly the easiest access in the stadium. If it does end up being some sort of special club level, the opposing fans in the corner of the SE will have better access to it than our season ticket holders

Well they had a couple of fraternity and other organization blocks in the prime seats there. They did away with south end zone block seats and moved those groups to crap locations in the north corners in 2009. That's also when they implemented the season tickets for students vs the weekly allotment.

It’s crazy how pathetic student involvement has gotten in just the last 15+ years since I was an undergrad. The south end zone was always packed. My group of buddies would split our time between south and north student sections.

I think making the south end zone some premium season ticket club type atmosphere with the bar and food mentioned above would be awesome.

It’s the block seating change. It needs to go away.

2000s south endzoner checking in. Fond memories of throwing things at Boston College when they ran out of the locker room.

And it may be louder for us in south goal line situations and OT than it will be for our opponents

Second Self brewery was started by some GT grads, I think. TS needs to bring them onboard if a beer garden concept ever materializes

Agreed. Mid 2000s here. South endzone would always be packed and loud, usually well before the game started. It's really stunning to see the change that has occurred in only ten years.

I've spoken to Todd at a couple events in NYC and he seemed intent on doing a beer garden thing. At one fundraising event he showed slides of a premium lounge area occupying the Clint Castleberry corner and part of the South endzone so I expect this has something to do with that.

Allows for a new weight room that looks onto field ala Louisville, UVA, GSU.
That is what I had heard the plan was all along. Upgrade and enlarge S&C area with open view of Grant Field.

Wonder how many seats are there - exactly between the East and West stands?
