Tickets in the hands of Mutts

Also if I recall 2009 had a very Tech sided imbalance in fans. Maybe because of the #7 ranking.

So exactly where CPJ had it? Seriously, only three of the games out of the last 11 weren’t competitive.
What CGC needs to do to make it a real rivalry is to do the two things CPJ couldn’t do. Win at BDS and win in consecutive years. That is how O’Leary did it.

I was thinking more like 5 out of 11 not 3 out of 11 but also uga's on par with Clemson the last two years and the games have been very similar. We haven't beaten Clemson in 4 years and unless we get better players we're not gonna beat them or uga anytime soon.

Yeah, we needed to flip the 2009 disaster and the Vad game where we blew a 20 pt lead.

The only team that was truly competitive with Clemson the last 4 years was Alabama. Same with UGa the last two years. Both teams are given to one brain fart game a year.

I’m hoping the true value of CGC is a stellar defense. He had that at Miss State and was able to cover UF’s putrid offense.

One year we had a Georgia 3 pack, but idiotically included a Thursday night game in it. UGA fans will never show up when the Dwags are playing, but about 2000 showed up for the Thursday night game, raising hell for the other team.

There is a way to structure it where we get significantly more cash too.

For example, if you try to pay with a Walmart prepaid debit card the price goes up 100%.
I mean, you're not wrong.

The conversation around this doesn't need to be "how to keep dwags out of the stadium." It needs to be "how much money can we extract from the dwags?"

So, for instance, double the cost of the 3 game packs and give a 60% discount to anyone who buys more than one year in a row. Saves Tech fans 5% and doubles the amount the dwags pay.

Look all I'm saying is people go to games they feel like they have a shot at winning. And even if we're the underdogs, which we will be, they wanna see a team that fights. Dont talk to me about uga and clemson being as good as bama when you cant even beat Duke or USF. That's the problem with attendance at BDS.

Back when I bought my season tickets I was informed that some Georgia fans will buy three packs or even season tickets in order to get a ticket to the game at Bobby Dodd. Have you ever heard of this?

My only complaint is you then have to assume they would re sell those tickets for them to even be on the market.

Not sure what to do about this, just an interesting thought.
Happens every other year.

The worst was the '09/'10 games. If we win in 2009 (Nesbitt's knee doesn't get twisted under the pile), there's a decent chance Richt is fired and UGA hires Will Muschamp. They'd have been pretty bad under him.

If Nesbitt doesn't break his arm in 2010, we beat UGA (not to mention VT) for the 3rd year in a row, they miss a bowl, Richt is definitely fired, and they hire Muschamp. Series would be much different (and I feel CPJ would still be around) if those 2 close games had swung our way.

If I recall correctly, a bunch of ND fans bought season tickets to come watch the GT/ND game at the start of the year when Brady Quinn was their qb

It’s hard to think that it was that close. And 2013. Things that you roll around in your imagination about what things could look like.

You people act like Uga and Clemson and Auburn and whoever else wants hasn’t been taking over BDS for at least the 20 years I’ve been going to games. We also don’t need to brag about splitting a stadium WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE from BDS with an out of state team.

Who are you calling "you people"?
