As an aside, someone got the backstory on Tashard's coaching experience? I remember he played for the Cowboys for a while, but otherwise lost track of what he was doing.

Definitely cool.

TC has recently been coaching RBs at N Texas. He interned for a year on the Dallas coaching staff, then was a GA at N Texas before being promoted to RBs coach.

Played for Cowboys for 3 seasons. Gailey brought him up to Buffalo for a few seasons. Was never e feature back but played in NFL for 6 or 7 seasons. Not bad for a RB.

Any chance this indicates CGC has an OC and it isn't being announced until after his bowl game? I imagine he'd want the OC to approve of offensive position coaches.
 
One of my all time favorite Jackets. Gotta believe recruits and players will love him.

very likely that the new staff will be made up mostly of current Temple coaches.

I didn’t think this was ever in question? I’m sure he’s got his whole staff secure and it’s just a timing thing. Agreed with Arch, he’s essentially told us all along that a lot of Temple guys are coming and he doesn’t want to disrupt that right now.
 
I could not be more excited by this hire.

I have been a season ticket holder since the '05 season. During the TV timeout following this TD, it's about as loud as I can ever remember hearing Bobby Dodd. The entire stadium was jumping to Zombie Nation. Yes, even the people in the club seats.



Love TC's game and personality. This is an absolute home run by Coach Collins.

Good run from 08-10 where he had 92, 64, & 64 carries. The stuck around for 3 more seasons after that. Not bad for a rb at all.
