Nah just calling you out for throwing shade on a kid who has looked solid leading his team to a state championship with a lot of upside.

You say solid and I say "lacks arm to talent to play P5 QB"

Playing solid vs. very talented HS players is different than playing P5 QB, he should have been scary dominant and maybe then he might project to play QB on the P5 level

Please list what other schools wanted him to play QB vs P5 competition

After TQM I was hoping we'd be beyond giving schollies to 5-11 186lbs QBs that look 5-10ish 178lbs

Not even giving this kid a chance? All I can say is wow! Could possibly be POY in Georgia this year and you are already ready to be disparaging of this young man that want's to compete for GT football. Notice you are from Kennesaw so maybe you have some bias towards Justin Fields. After his remarks leaving the field against South Carolina can see he's not a team player and those are the type kids we DON'T need on our team.

Go back and watch Lucas Johnson's HS film. If he can get back to 100% physical health (and that's a big if), he's a perfect fit for an RPO type offense.

CFB players curse sometimes, no big deal and Coach G would love to have him

You & I have no way of knowing what kind of "team player" that he is or is not

Okay I can see where these insults are coming from. If you had watched the championship game you would realize this kid has a very good arm and accuracy. Completed several passes scrambling out of the pocket and throwing against his body. He had no trouble throwing and showed good composure. I’m happy with this pick up. Sorry you’re not.

He can always go jump on another bandwagon until CGC retires from GT football in a little more than a decade.

This is a TE grad transfer from UCONN. Nice to build some depth at an obvious position of need. This will definitely ease the transition and he will enroll in January and be here for spring ball.

This is a huge p-up if he is as good as looks. We had NO real exp at TE and this gives us a chance at a new Off weapon is what will be a difficult OFF transition.
