I hate the SEC as much as anybody, but there's a reason they got that reputation. Now it's a self-fulfilling prophecy that results in average teams like Kentucky getting ranked 14th simply because they lost to the right teams.

Did we forget Clemson beat Bama in Jan 2017? When did Clemson join the SEC?

Paul Hewitt recruited incredibly well. He was just a ööööty coach.

You are probably correct. I heard on the radio last week that a really bad Ark. team was something like 7th, 8th or 9th in this year’s SEC recruiting ranks, but were in the top 20 in 247 (or someone’s) National recruiting ranks.

I still have no love for ACC teams ( outside of hoping c.u. wins), but I want GT to get inthat recruiting neighborhood.
 
When's the last time a non Alabama team won anything? Ten years ago? The sec sucks

The acc has won as many as the sec/bama in the last 5 years
