Agree that cheering for mutts is terrible. Was he cheering or hanging with HS friends or kids he grew up with? Like I said I have no idea on these details. Was not there. Just commenting on the notable things on his resume. I have learned in my senior years that these are kids and if this is the biggest mistake he is indicted for he will do ok in life. and I suspect there are a lot of parents out there that would point with pride to this sons track record. That’s all I got to say about that.
Let's just say that THWG should be SOP if you play at TECH. Somehow TQM didn't get the memo. Front office fail?

Exactly. The same should be true for athletes.

I am not certain, because I don't know him personally, but I have a feeling Coach Collins would be letting TQM ride some pine if TQM was seen in a georgia bulldog shirt pulling for the bulldogs

Of course he has a dwag defending him. Makes sense.
No reason for a dwag to defend a player on his way out. I've never known what to think about Marshall. He looked Heismanesque against Tennessee and scared the crap out of me. I've just always believed that football has a thousand moving parts, and the QB gets too much or too little credit. If if it were all about his arm, that would be different. More like baseball, where he makes the throw or he doesn't make the throw.

But Johnson's offense, even more than most in football, is a machine that depends on all its parts to be well-oiled. Again, I don't know this thing inside out like Tech fans would, but it has looked to me like defenses took away the pitch (more than just Marshall wanting to keep) and the offense line has taken away the dive. If this is even close to true, Marshall had to be pretty limited. I've read here that he's "selfish," but do you really think Johnson would put up with that if it was that simple?

My (limited) observation has been that the Johnson offense could be a thing of beauty if he could get all the right parts for it. When he couldn't, it was very difficult to improvise and go to any kind of Plan B. Sure, that's true of any offense, but this offense was all in on itself. All or nothing.
