He was free to leave after the news leaked that he was leaving. And Satan cares so little that he made Key issue a press statement.
 
I have heard a few of his interviews on the radio over the years and he doesn't sound that bright. I remember one on 790 where he kept face-bumping his phone's dial-pad throughout an interview.
 
Don't get triggered by hacks. When you do and when people respond it shows them that their sensationalist writing (I won't even insult real journalists to call it reporting) is doing exactly what they want... getting eyeballs on the content. All they care about is clicks because that's how they get their content to be sponsored. I know most people know that. I'm really just talking about not bothering to argue with the hack or try to get him to back up his statements.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure Saban was gonna fire the guy rated as the #1 recruiter nationally
 
Ledbetter has a long history of writing really off the wall stuff about the Falcons. He never really seems to be fully aware of what is happening with the fan base. Plus, he teaches at UGA. Saban sang Key’s praises when Key left. Don’t worry about the haters. CGC will take care of that.
 
He had a family member (Jonathan Ledbetter) starting on the D-line for UgA. He was even reTweeting people making fun of Qua Searcy for being skinny during the last COFH. Unprofessional as hell, really.
 
Just remember they're part of "fake news", I ask people all the time why they read that stuff, and it's real simple, it's addictive. All IMO of course. I quit reading, watching or listening to it a long time ago, quit taking the AJC about 15 years ago. It improved my life noticeably. Today there are ways to get THE TRUTH, not "their truth".

He does this on 92.9 literally every time he is on. I honest to God thought it was a segment where they let a "special" person on as a feel good fun thing. I was astonished when a buddy corrected me when I brought it up.

AJC has really been cursed with some awful sports writers over the years. I always liked Schultz but he was sort of a generalist.
 
He basically just said "he was fired, or he wasn't fired" One of those 2 things are true.
