I don’t think it’s a rebuild. Retool yes, but we shouldn’t be any worse then what we’ve been in recent years. I think some kids might surprise us. I bet most have played in something similar to what we’ll do going forward vs what PJ did.

Hey look, he gave us four years and graduated. He's fulfilled his obligation in my book and this is just going to grad school at a different school to get a different perspective. It's always recommended to grad school somewhere other than your alma mater anyway so no biggie. He's done his time and now he gets to dip his stick in some nice coed booty somewhere.

How do you not consider this a rebuild? The offense couldn’t be more different year over year, and we simply do not have the WR/TE that the new offense will require. And our OL makeup is completely different. If Parker Braun can see it, why can’t you?

Different doesn’t equate rebuild. They still have to block and defeat the man in front of them. Some of y’all have been brainwashed to believe everyone one of our players have been born outta out of a triple option lab where that’s all they know. How do you know we don’t have the WR/TE required? Guys like Malachi Carter and Dolphus have been dreaming of days like this. Tyler Davis has played 3yrs in a spread offense at TE at UCONN and Luke Johns is already a consensus All American there. I’m pretty sure our OL hasn’t forgot how to block even tho it looked like it under CPJ sometimes with us trying to block Safeties and passing guys up.

Parker Braun didn’t see anything bc I’m still baffled by his decision

Well I’m not going to argue with you because I consider you the smartest football mind on Stingtalk. And yeah I’m sure we have some guys that can do well, but the fact is we don’t have ENOUGH bodies at WR/TE, even though I’m sure we have some.

I hate that he will not be with us next year, if he does indeed leave. But, on the bright side, that makes room for 1 more 2019 recruit and we have some good alternatives.

We have enough to be competitive and make a run at the Coastal simply because the Coastal sucks.

So if he makes it to the league after next year, will he claim us or the grad school? :dunno:

Jaunyeh.

This probably has more to do with his brother wanting to go somewhere else and Parker wanting to play with him for a year than it does anything about Parker not liking coaches.

I think the idea that we have A backs playing QB because we couldn’t recruit the most important position in a balanced manner, but were able to recruit TEs, a position our offense doesn’t even have, fairly hilarious.

IOW, no, we don’t have some secret great TE just waiting to break out. Recent history tells us we likely have a better chance of finding such a player in our baseball team than we do on our football team.

I think the new offensive system fits Braun less and Defoor more

Parker will play one more season in the fall of 2019. His brother will play his senior year of high school football in the fall of 2019. They will not play together.
