absolute genius. hopefully we don’t see auburn and georgie signs next year
I'm actually a little curious about the legality of it. I'm slightly surprised the NCAA allows this. These kids aren't even enrolled at GT yet. Perhaps we have them sign some kind of waiver or something.

What would be the issue? They aren't profiting from them in a strict sense.

How is it any different from listing their name in a press release of signees?

The billboard ads are an attempt to sell tickets, not promote the individual for their profit.

Heisman campaigns are closer to the edge and they are fine.

Don't know. I'm not trying to give anybody any ideas. But my spidey-sense is tingling.
I can't see it being an issue. You're allowed to promote your own players, and all of these guys have signed letters of intent. I'm sure if there were issues with it, it would've been discussed with the GTAA before the billboards went up.

Yeah, "surely" we would've thoroughly investigated this before hand...

It would be hard to show tangible benefit to a player from being on a billboard. Louisville has 30 foot banners with their players on them all over campus. Here's an example:

Here's another:

Those appear to be from 2015. When we were on campus last October, it was that times 10.

This can’t be cheap. Who’s footing the bill? But I like it. Like someone said, everyone will see it in Atlanta.

I guess all the new bagmen who were not into Ken Whisenhunt.
At a speech recently Dewberry rather pointedly noted that CGC's hiring caught him off-guard, that TStan had been telling him about somebody else for a while, then he was caught off-guard unexpectedly when CGC was hired. Interesting stuff.

You are. Buy tickets, donate. If already doing that, awesome! We need more to do the same.
