UNC recruiting

We're building a culture based on that effort too I hear.

This intrigues me. I also keep hearing talk of fruit beverages and breakfast foods. I will watch his career with great interest.

Can you imagine how a practice with elderly coaches is going to be run?

Or strength and conditioning.

Lol. You have him down!

I do think Choice is covering Dekalb/Clayton/Henry counties primarily.

Think in terms of sales and operations. I think they each have a territory they sell like Choice has or Key has but then they also have an operations-side they work.

So Key works all OL plus all of Alabama...something like that. I am sure I am oversimplifying it but there does seem to be a plan.

Key is strong anywhere, including Florida and Georgia.

They have territories, but they also help each other. Our in-home visits appear to be three to eight coaches. If we are going for a running back, you know TC will be involved. But if TC is camped at Carver for the whole year, that's still good use of his time.

Being relentless recruiters. Recruiting the Elite of the elite. There are territories but it’s mostly a team effort. I think that is the complete CGC spill

"Relentless recruiting the Elite..." Makes sense to me. Babe Ruth once said: "You are going to miss 100% of the pitches you don't swing at" Same applies in recruiting. This staff will miss some, like Downs, but that is OK because they have more, many more, where he comes from.

as far as I remember machete was no CPJ fan
I'm not criticizing CGC, I'm actually a big fan. I just think we need to keep things in perspective. I am, however, annoyed that friggin' Mack Brown has a bunch of 4* commits already.

They always have them and we normally beat them. Now, we are upgrading and will kick their ass.
UNC, Dook, and Wake are pathetic football schools.

Trying to keep up here.

CPJ left a bunch of SAs that are fit for nothing but the TO, so 2019 season is going to suck.

CGC came on strong before Feb signing day and snagged some key recruits and transfers for 2019, so we are good now.

CGC is behind in 2020 recruiting and we are doomed.

CGC's record at Tech is 0-0 and will remain so until September.

Do I have this right?

We have some 4-star commitments already. They’ll go public soon. Also some 3-stars. Not sure why a February commitment matters any more than a March or April one.

Our staff was recruiting a lot for 2019 in January. Most of the staff was not even here until January. In one month, they were quite impressive. I’m fine giving them a few months to work on 2020.
UNC also drives a lot of clickbait income for recruiting services. It's the reason their classes get perpetually ranked in the top 30, usually top 25 despite offer lists heavy with App State, ECU, and Kent State. Then they go about 6-6 most of the time.

UGA does the same thing at a higher level.
I dunno. The NFL validates the UGA recruiting at elite level. This has always been the case even when they were down.

Exactly, they always out-recruit us but have beat us approx 5 times over the past 20 years, Mack failed hard at TX in the end and ran the program into the dirt......not skeered.
