M. Bradley's opinion re: Mercedes Benz Stadium

I figured they had separate locker rooms for the Falcon's and built additional for other events. Do they really get to use the Falcon's locker room? Anyone?
iirc when the saints we're in line for the SB people were pissed that as the home team they would be in the falcons locker room

I don't really get why he's trying to tie the MBS games into that 2007 VT game. Yeah, it was a bad loss but plenty of fans had been down on Gailey since the end of 2006 and for some, since 2002 UGA.

Maybe I'm just retarded.

No, you're not, he is. I stopped reading as soon as he started making that comparison

The only thing that should be a bannable offense is suggesting something should be a bannable offense.

I think that's a pretty obvious comparison and not sure what's to miss. That was a high profile game where we pulled out all the stops to create buzz and make it a big deal (just like these games). And then we laid a big fat egg. Except for minor details, Bradley is right in his take on these games - it is a great idea in theory (which I agree with), unless we get boat raced and then we look stupid. But if our fans and team show up for the game we come out looking golden.

He also said the last time there was an excitement around Tech was after winning the ACC Championship in 2009.

Because winning the Orange Bowl and finishing in the top 10 in 2014 never happened.

You, sir, just committed a bannable offense.

I just don't remember this. We a mediocre Gailey-ball team with 5-wins playing a decent VT squad. Taylor Bennett, although a stand-up guy, again showed why he had absolutely no business as a starting QB at Div-I school.

Again, I just don't see what was so "high profile" about it.

As for the MBS games, it's all about the financial benefits, there is no use over-complicating that basic truth.

Agreed. Even before this article, my thought process was something like “I wonder if we’ll try to do a special halftime show and make this into a big deal like we did...oh, yeah.”

Basically said that the move could backfire on us if we don't have a winning team by the time the games happen. Way to state the obvious, Mark.
We will have a winning team against Georgia, 2019. "That would have been good from 53 and a half yards" snide comment was because he thought Georgia was a lock in overtime. Hey, Mark, DIAF!

You are not re-Todd it.

The top 2 things CGC talks about is branding and recruiting.

Here’s what Mark has to say about the latter topic: “Recruits should love this.”

He may as well be a random Facebook commentator. It’s like he’s not even trying.

Risk and reward. Lots of GT people are confident entrepreneurs. Bradleys nrain doesnt work like that. His brain works more like that of a post office employee.
(My apologies to any postal workers on here)
