Georgia State

Serious question: does Georgia Perimeter issue GSU degrees now?

Your recent, infrequent posting makes me worried you've fallen in with a cult and are having an internal struggle between good (StingTalk) and evil (also StingTalk, but moreso said cult). I'm rooting for you to rejoin us, but I know it might not be an easy journey. Post dank memes if you need help.

Not sure the point here. All I see are articles on a very lame basketball program?

I think he's telling you to go somewhere else, but I'm using my non-GT alum brain so I could be mistaken.

That's kinda funny...or, it would be, except GSU leads the all time series against GS 3-2, including 3 wins in a row from 15-17. But you knew that already.
I did. And needed no reminders
Southern could have effectively killed State’s program. But nooooo..... they went and stepped on their crank and gave them life

If you want to be cuddled while posting about GT sports, go there. This is Stingtalk, which is the underground Indonesian fight club of GT message boards.

That place has more butthurt and arguing than here right now, actually. Just no mom stuff.

That is part of it. Not winning enough is a much bigger part of it, IMO.

I agree- if you’re choosing a team fresh, it’s easier to choose a winner. But explain the Cubs following in that context (at least until a few years ago).

Sorry, just don’t get the animosity towards sidewalk fans that attended another school. Would think that an institute like GIT and it’s fan base would welcome all.

The problem isn’t GIT, it’s Stingtalk. Imagine if you’re a foreigner and you fly to the US. You’re excited to visit the land where everyone is rich and safe and happy. The problem is that instead of the Upper East Side or Beverly Hills, you land in Baltimore and it’s a terrible warzone-like experience that you pray you survive. That doesn’t meant that all of America is terrible, it’s just that you went to the wrong part of America. That’s Stingtalk.

Funny, I am a "sidewalk" Cubs fan, too, in the sense that I have lived in Atlanta all my life. When I was growing up, all Cubs games were broadcast nationally on WGN, so that played a role in it. I actually became a fan during one of their random good years in '89. But I think a certain percentage of folks gravitate toward an underdog. The Cubs are the flip side of the coin to the Yankees, really. Oddly, my interest in Cubs' baseball has waned a bit since 2016. It's like, where do we go from here?

I see so much complaining about so much red or orange in BDS that I would think that anyone willing to wear gold (the right shade of course) and cheer on the Jackets would be welcome on Stingtalk.
