Not everyone is blessed with the ability to craft the perfect words for such a sad turn of events. This is no time to be judgemental. Give CBK the benefit of the doubt.
Maybe a technology öööö up?

I am so shocked to hear this. I cannot imagine the shock to his family and everyone around him. I am so sorry if any of them happen to read this. I enjoyed watching him.

Don't like Brent Key's tweet. Talking about losing a player to death and gaining a recruit in the same sentence. WTF

Too inappropriate to quote
I did find it a bit tone deaf and off-putting, but his heart was probably in the right place. OLine coaches maybe aren't known for eloquence.

No I won’t. It was a stupid ass tweet and he should know better. God almighty, how clueless can you be.

Let's give him time to retract it, we don't need to brigade his ass. I think he will realize the thoughts should be with the family.

I just went and found the tweet to see what it was given you and PerfectOption acting like someone kicked you in the nuts.

I was underwhelmed. It wasn’t that bad. Probably not the smartest tweet but his feed is filled with him posting stuff about Brandon only and mourning the loss.

Well if any of you were paying attention for our first three commits, you would have noticed all of the tweets by all members of the staff, many of them with multiple tweets. Today’s response to a very highly rated recruit has been muted to say the least.

I am sure everyone is doing their best to deal with this in a respectful manner. This will be a challenging week for the team and the staff. Hopefully everyone comes out of this week focusing out what is important in life.

Can we fly the team and staff to Nashville for the funeral or would that violate some obscure NCAA rule?

If you have ever lost a child (lost my son at 25), this tweet is insensitive and really lacked thought, but honestly, many others who have not lost children (and cannot feel the overwhelming nature of it) have said things to my wife and me that they thought were helpful but were actually very insensitive. I am sure CBK doesn't understand, and his intentions were not in anyway to hurt anyone.

Hopefully, he will consider taking down the tweet.

Why can't it just stop there?

The standard has to be intent. If you perceive something well intentioned as insensitive instead of stopping at perceiving it as well intentioned, particularly when you admit that they cannot know, then that seems like a very unfair standard to hold someone to.

Frankly, bringing up criticism of a person's well intentioned reaction seems insensitive. What is the goal of criticism of the tweet?

Well said, A.B. I am a member of that unfortunate club as well. Thank God most cannot understand the pain.
